staff very good at their jobs.a manager arranged a shower for me on check out day.the outside bar was a very entertaining place for a drink.

a bit too far from centre.no restaurants or bars nearby.smoking was permitted in harrys bar with closed doors when really smokers could be outside in the outside bar.hotel should think about non smoking guests.

Very quiet air conditioning (+++), spacious room (+), quick lifts (++), good beds (+++), fresh and clean hotel (+++), friendly and helpful staff (+), nice ambience (+). Dinner food prices are OK (+). Adjustable TV/Radio sound forwarding into the bathroom (+++). Bathtub big enough for 6" person (+++). Good bar in walking distance (Lützowplatz). Excellent bargain offer (+++).

Minor points: Ellipse lounge lacks atmosphere (rotating doors, slightly drafty, noise from Harry's New York bar through bar doors). Harry's New York bar very loud and smoky at night. Expensive Breakfast and Minibar (not used). Not much open on Sundays (Eck Bar closed).

The staff at the hotel made all the difference for me. They were absolutely great. I spent my birthday in Berlin and they made it very special for me.

honestly - overall it was great a great experience.

Only two let down was the restaurants and the choice of movies on display. Food quality was not 5 star level. closer to or below 3 star level. Movies on display from the TV was mainly in german as well as english channels could be better since they have all possible german ones.

At least one casement should have a fly screen, because of the midges and to allow guests to open the window

the ambiance and the comfort
