It takes 10 minutes to reach the main railway station (“Hauptbahnhof”) and 5 minutes to reach Ostbahnhof station, either by city rail or taxi. Alexanderplatz station is a 2-minute walk away, and from here a direct bus service takes you to Kurfürstendamm.

VERY CONVENIENT FOR EVERYTHING, AND NOT AT ALL NOISY

THE only thing we didnt like was the bathroom facilities in the bedroom, they were not very private

We got a lovely modern room with great views from 2 sides of the building

The roof top bar was a rip off - they charged 3 euro to go in and it wasn't as good as it looked in the photos in the lobby - it was a little viewing platform and it really should have been free for residents.

Great beds. Helpfulness of staff (breakfast staff) and reception. The breakfast lady was good at smiling and making me feel welcome.

The room had no windows and is noisy because of the lifts. No windows affects getting up in the morning. The book suggsted to call the numbers on the phone corresponding to e.g reception but these are not marked on the phone. There was some sweet under the bed. It was not explained properly that everything in the room is part of the charge e.g. minibar.
