When travelling by car please note that our hotel is located within the environmental protection zone (from 1st January 2008). To enter this zone you need an official ticket, called a “Feinstaubplakette”.

This ticket is valid in all environmental protection zones and is available at various places for EUR 5:

- Any TÜV or DEKRA centre

clean rooms with comfortable beds. Good location, 15 minutes walk from key sites.

Everything was billed over and above room rental at the hotel. Breakfast at 15 euro per person, bottle of water in room at around 6 euro. Would usually expect a complimentary bottle of water and tea/coffee maker in a hotel of this size and rating.

Location of hotel

Staff began working to prepare for a birthday party at the hotel. They
began working at 8am and made a lot of noise which disturbed my sleep.
For this reason I would not use this hotel again.

Very good quiet location with only a short walking distance to Potsdamer platz and Checkpoint charlie (also nice restaurants/pubs just around the corner), very classy room; nice view, comfortable beds and lot's of space, professional staff; they were always available and always happy to help, private garage, nice restaurant & bar, cosy atrium

No free internet access in rooms (there's a free wlan available in public areas but it didn't work very well)

Helpful staff, clean and reasonably-sized room, good (but over-priced) breakfast.

The noise and lack of airconditioning! (Upon checking in I was given the choice between a room on the 6th floor, in which it would be very warm - according to the staff at the reception -, and a room on the 1st floor on the street side, which would be very noisy. I chose the room on the 1st floor, which was also very warm, and needed the reception desk to provide earplugs to be able to sleep.)
