Le Méridien Nice is synonymous with relaxation at every level. You can enjoy a solarium and a year-round heated swimming pool, located on the roof of the hotel, 10 floors above the Baie des Anges.

Le Méridien Nice is also the city’s only hotel with a fitness room and a beauty salon. It offers cardio-training, fitness, massage, a sauna, balneotherapy and tanning services. The hotel’s private beach is just across the promenade.

Entertainment is never too far away with the Casino Ruhl, located within the same building of the hotel, and the numerous restaurants of the area.

Food & beverage

Le Colonial Café serves authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a modern decor with white leather benches and long glass windows offering unrestricted sea views.
Le Colonial Café is open for breakfast from 07:00 to 10:30, and from 12:00 to 22:00 for lunch and dinner.

Next to Le Colonial Café, a bar serves drinks all day long.

La Terrasse du Colonial Café is a rooftop restaurant which serves the same menu as Le Colonial Café. It offers breakfast from 10:30 to 12:00, and it is open from 12:00 to 22:00 for lunch and dinner. Set in a decor of teak tables and cream fabrics, this 10th-floor restaurant welcomes you in a chilled out atmosphere where you can enjoy a cocktail du jour or read the newspaper.

Room information

Le Meridien Nice offers 318 newly styled bedrooms, combining Mediterranean style with contemporary touches. Most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace, and they are either overlooking the sea, Albert I Gardens or quiet patio.

The hotel provides white, soft duvets and large pillows for a home-sweet-home intimacy, with cushions on the bed.

To strengthen the cosy feel in the bathroom, there are soft deluxe towels in a wicker basket. A black lacquered plate and a chromium-plated box constitute the basic elements of the stylish decor.

Please note that the rooms can only accommodate up to 3 people.

Area information

With its enviable seafront position, the hotel is close to the pedestrian area with its designer boutiques and restaurants.
Embracing the blue of the sea and the gold of the sun, the property is at the heart of life in Nice, and just 6 km from the international airport.

The city’s Acropolis Convention Centre is less than 20 minutes' walk from Le Méridien.

Perfect location, views, modern and clean. The manager of the desk-office is very polite and helpful. Small free snacks in the afternoon are a real surprise and pleasant.

Balkony in superior-rooms seems to be a "French balkony". This is not a balcony you can sit or stand on. This is not mentioned on the site. Only a few rooms have a real balcony, that is a terras. We were lucky to a be able to change the "balcony-room" to an available "teras-room" the second day. But if all are full, one can get very disapointed. The breakfast (not included) is expensive/chaotic.

I like the renovated rooms which i stayed in one, also the dinning area, the only thing they need to work on is Fitness club, as you know with the amount of money that you pay to stay i think you should get a good fitness club, at the moments they have one but small and hardly have any good equepments.

WOW... A great location. Across the street from the beaches, walking distances to the tram and old town. A great hotel.. Little more then i would typically spend but well worth the value!!!

Our SV room was upgraded to junior suite with swish modern furniture, great bathroom & kept v clean. Too few hangers & storage space though. Sea view is great from room & dining room. Staff at breakfast are v attentive & breakfast selection is good (albeit expensive). Location was ideal for our family with wide range of ages (as close to beach, shops, restaurants & old town).

Door on the wardrobe of our daughters' room was broken & the room reeked of of cigarettes. Their hair drier unhelpfully only worked if you manually kept button down whilst drying hair.

location of hotel to beach and proximity to restaurants.

i find the reception staff stiff and unhelpful and does not make me feel welcome. this is so different from reception staff at hotels in asia - where they are always eager to help and smiles a lot!

Central location with easy access to to a wide range of restaurants. Hotel facilities good.

Still under refurbishment with some work in progress.

Liked the new styling much better than the old classic styling. Entire hotel should be renovated (incl. restaurant), not only part.

Corridors are dark, more light is better. Parking garage was uncomfortable; had to walk up stairs from floor -3 to -2, not easy with full luggage and two children. Also no immediate access to hotel?
